Game Coach Position Opening with The Game Box, LLC
What is a Game Coach?
A game coach is the person that brings the party (literally). That is because we typically staff one worker per party. This means that you’re the one driving our huge, gamin’ rig up to the event. Once there, you power up, load the games as per request, let the gamers in and watch them play! Now, we do call you a game coach for a reason. You'’ll find yourself sharing gaming tips, coordinating teams, and sometimes just giving the kids some good competition.… Of course, like any job it has its challengers, such as supervising up to 20 kids at once (sometimes as young as 5 years old, though our typical party is for 9-13 year olds). A bulk of our business is word of mouth; so, you'’ll be expected to encourage future bookings by handing out flyers at parties and giving information to the spectators. Basically, you tell everyone what it'’s all about.
Aside from that, you'’re getting paid to work in the video game industry, and it'’s tons of fun. You'’ll be part of many game release events, make great tips, and meet hundreds of interesting people!
